Internet Marketing

Is the process of promoting a business or brand and its products or services over the internet using tools that help drive traffic, leads, and sales. Is the tool that we use to create Brand Awareness.

Internet marketing a pretty broad term that encompasses a range of marketing tactics and strategies – including content, email, search, paid media, and more.

Internet marketing, online marketing, digital marketing, and content marketing are all related terms that refer to the use of digital channels to promote products, services, or brands. While there may be some overlap between the terms, they have different meanings and focuses:

  • Internet marketing: Refers to marketing efforts that use the internet to reach customers, such as search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and social media marketing.
  • Online marketing: Refers to marketing efforts that take place exclusively online, including internet marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Digital marketing: Refers to marketing efforts that use digital channels to reach customers, including internet marketing, mobile marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Content marketing: Refers to marketing efforts that focus on creating and sharing valuable content to attract and retain customers. This can include blog posts, infographics, videos, and social media posts.
  •

In summary, while these terms are related, they each have their unique focuses and applications within the broader field of digital marketing.

What is the difference between Inbound and Outbound Marketing?

Outbound marketing refers to any kind of marketing where a company initiates the conversation and sends its message out to an audience. … Outbound marketing is the opposite of inbound marketing, where the customers find you when they need you.

Outbound marketing typically is accomplished using the more traditional ways such as direct mail, telemarketing, email marketing and events.

The difference between inbound and outbound marketing is subtle and often the lines between the two are blurred.

These days, though, internet marketing is often used interchangeably with “content marketing or outbound marketing.”

Note that content marketing is the umbrella term under which blogging and vlogging rests. As a result, there’s often a lot of overlap between the two. For many brands, blogging is an essential way to bring value to readers, which is why it’s considered a great starting point for any content marketing strategy.

Note that blogging can be considered part of inbound or outbound marketing.

We, at JCG Services prefer the Inbound Marketing approach that refers to the methods that are taken to convert a visitor into a customer once they have ended up on a website. Content marketing is just a section of that, because it focuses on very specific methods of content creation and distribution.

These are specific areas of Internet Marketing that we work with:

Social Media Marketing, that includes Facebook Marketing and Facebook Advertising.

E-mail Marketing, that is the use of email to promote products or services while developing relationships with potential customers or clients. It is essentially direct mail done electronically instead of through the postal service.
